Victoria (Australia) Railway Diagrams

Introduction

During the early 1990's, I became quite interested in the layout of the then V/Line (country) and The Met (suburban) rail systems in Victoria, Australia. During this period, I stumbled across Victorian Railways Station Diagrams drawn by Weston Langford 1956 - 1960, published by The Australian Railway Historical Society. The following diagrams are of a similar vein.

Please Note

At the time that I compiled these diagrams, I was not fully aware of various safe working systems that were in use at the time (that learning came later). So, there will be some innacuracies as fair as safe-working is concerned. These maps are not drawn to scale. These diagrams are representations of the railway layout as observed on the day(s) I visited. These diagrams are not intended to be used as a source for accurate historical railway research. They are provided for information only. All these diagrams were drawn between 1990 and 1995.
